Jeff Hamano

Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Jeff Hamano has been teaching the Strings Orchestra program at Moanalua Elementary since 2009. He graduated from Kalani High School and received his bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa where he studied Cello under professor I-bei Lin. Mr. Hamano also holds a private practice with cello lessons at Craig Young School of Music and Punahou School. He has performed with the Maui Symphony, the Honolulu Symphony, Kealiʻi Reichel, and other various artists in concerts here in Hawaiʻi, as well as on the mainland. Mr. Hamano currently performs as a per service member of the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra.
