Summer Windward Music4Kids (Click here for info!)
Who: Students entering the 4th-6th grades for the 2026-2027 school year
When: June 22 – July 17, 2026 (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays)
3:00-3:45 PM – Music4Kids Beginning ʻUkulele Class #1
4:00-4:45 PM – Music4Kids Beginning ʻUkulele Class #2
Instrument: ʻUkulele
Level: Beginning – Open to students with less than 1 year experience or NO experience on the ʻukulele.
Location: 145 S Kainalu Dr, Kailua, HI 96734 (Windward Boys & Girls Club next to Kailua Intermediate School)

Summer Strings (Click here for info!)
Who: At least 8 years of age by June 2026 & entering 3rd-12th grades
When: June 8 – July 10, 2026 (Monday-Friday)
Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
Levels:
3:15-4:15 pm Beginning (no experience necessary)
4:30-5:30 pm Intermediate (at least 1 year experience). No audition necessary.
Location: 1704 Waiola St. Honolulu, HI 96826 (Spalding Boys and Girls Club)

Super Strings Summer (Click here for info!)
Who: At least 9 years of age by June 2026 & entering 4th-12th grades
When: June 15 – July 17, (Monday-Friday)
Instruments: Violin
Levels:
3:15-4:15 pm Beginning (no experience necessary)
4:30-5:30 pm Intermediate (at least 1 year experience). No audition necessary.
Location: 917 Kalaniana‘ole Hwy, Kailua, HI 96732 (Le Jardin Academy)

Who: Students entering Grades 6-12 for the 2026-2027 school year
When: July 3 – July 12, 2026

Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Saxophone, Oboe/English Horn, Bassoon, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium/Baritone, Tuba, Orchestral Percussion/Timpani, Jazz Drum Set/Percussion, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Keyboard, ʻUkulele
Levels: Intermediate to Advanced
Placement videos are required for the Strings Program, Wind, Brass, Percussion Program & Middle School All-State Band
Placement videos determine seating and part assignments. For the Strings & Winds, Brass, Percussion Programs, the videos also determine which ensemble a student will be placed in.
Audition videos are required for acceptance into the Jazz Intensive Program.
NO placement video is needed for the ʻUkulele Program
