Matt Sasaki

Matthew Sasaki is Vice President at Hawai‘i Pacific Health, where he oversees Hawaii Health Partners, the State of Hawai‘i’s first and largest accountable care organization (ACO). Throughout his career in health care, Matt has developed extensive expertise in care management, population health, value-based care, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Hawai‘i Pacific Health, Matt held several leadership positions at Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA), most recently serving as Executive for External Relations. In that role, he led HMSA’s engagement with county, state, and federal stakeholders while also overseeing community engagement, corporate giving, and the HMSA Foundation.

Earlier in his career, Matt led initiatives focused on population health, quality improvement, care coordination, and provider engagement. He also helped develop and support HMSA’s joint ventures dedicated to care management and value-based care delivery.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University and a Master of Health Care Management from Johns Hopkins University.

Dedicated to serving the local community, Matt currently serves on the boards of The GIFT Foundation of Hawai‘i, Scouting America – Aloha Council, and the HMSA Foundation.
